Our Mission

Chronic Oasis exists to inclusively honour and connect humans who love and care for chronically ill family members -- chosen family included.

We do this by introducing chronic caregiver role models to our community each month, providing career and personal life resources that are specifically curated for our chronic caregiving community, and by facilitating (often) humorous, loving, BS-free discussions within our community.  

Our corner of the online world is full of insight from caregivers who’ve been through every stage of the caregiving journey. Some you’ll recognize from mainstream media. Most you won’t. This is intentional. All caregivers have great wisdom to share with us if they choose to do so. And we’re here to listen, learn and get to know each other for all that we are.  

Speaking of listening, our Chronic Oasis community listens and engages with everyone who joins us with respect. As stated above, we exist to inclusively honour and connect humans who love and care for chronically ill family members.
